Yoga Toolbox

Learn how to build a foundation of ease through yoga techniques aimed at regulating the nervous system, releasing tension, stress and anxiety, and building a platform to find relaxation and rejuvenation.

In this workshop we will break down and explore a variety of exercises including breath practices, yoga postures, both active and passive, and fine tune a mental safe space through guided meditation. We will also play with props in order to develop personalized physical systems of support, creating the space for steadiness and courage. Come and build your yoga toolbox. (This workshop includes a small beaded bracelet for breath count.)

Restorative Yoga Workshop

Allow yourself a total body reboot through rest. 

 

The practice of Restorative Yoga is a proven strategy to release stress and tension in the body. Restful postures and supportive props create an experience of ease that produces deep relaxation. In this workshop we will discuss the necessary conditions to induce this state of relaxation, learn how to set up a space designed to allow the body and mind to let go, and finally experience it first hand! Join Kori for a refreshing practice during a typically hectic time of year.

Moving from a state of consciousness that is between waking and sleeping, you will experience a quiet inner world with the verbal guidance of Kori. Yin Yoga and Guided Meditation Workshop

Yin yoga is the practice of deep stretch held for an extended period of time. It has the potential to challenge us both mentally and physically, as it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice, deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues . Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and joints of the body.

In this workshop we will move into deep spaces of the body and work to release tension and surrender the body to gravity, through guided relaxation and meditation techniques.

Intention Setting and Custom Mala Making Workshop

In this workshop we will initiate class by engaging our intuitive body. Through a playful series of decisions and actions, we will work to hone in on what we would like to call more of into our life, and perhaps what we need to let go of. 

 This will  be followed by selecting the components to build a mala or meditation strand designed by you and made with purpose through your hands. This embodied strand of beads will include 108 semi-precious gemstones with additional marker beads selected by you, as a tool to continue the practice of refining simplicity and clarity in your daily life.

 Finally we will close with a meditation aimed at sealing your intention, your focus, and your potential to call into your life your true heart felt desires.

This Workshop is $75.
