Yin yoga is the practice of deep stretch held for an extended period of time. It has the potential to challenge us both mentally and physically, as it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice, deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues . Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and joints of the body.
In this workshop we will move into deep spaces of the body and work to release tension and surrender the body to gravity, through guided relaxation and meditation techniques.
